The Brief

A large Georgian walled garden, currently comprising an orangery, a large lawn area and a series of raised vegetable beds. Our brief was to create a garden oasis within the confines of the walls. Seating areas for different times of the day, and the inclusion of water were a must in the design scheme. The clients wanted a formal design to reflect the history of the garden, but they were keen for the space to feel striking and contemporary at the same time.
